Bobby’s was started by Bob and Debbie in 1990 with a vision of creating a place where the community could make positive memories with their friends and family while enjoying delicious, high-quality frozen custard and other treats. After perfecting their custard recipe, Bob and Debbie quickly established Bobby’s as a beloved mainstay in Maryville, IL. Their passion for their community and their custard was evident in every scoop. In 2021, when it was time to retire, Bob and Debbie entrusted Bobby’s to Andy’s Frozen Custard, a company known for upholding the same quality and values. Andy’s committed to preserving Bobby’s original custard recipe and adhering to the founding ideals. While ownership has changed, Bobby’s remains the cherished custard stand that everyone loves.

At Bobby’s, we believe in crafting our frozen custard with only the finest ingredients, ensuring each batch is a masterpiece of flavor and quality. Unlike regular ice cream, our frozen custard contains egg yolks, lending it a richer, creamier texture that delights with every spoonful. By incorporating less air during the churning process, our custard achieves a denser consistency, allowing flavors to truly shine. Served at a slightly warmer temperature, around 18°F, our custard is softer and easier to scoop, offering a decadent experience from the first bite to the last. Made fresh every hour in small batches and served promptly, Bobby’s frozen custard guarantees a treat that’s as fresh as it is delicious.
